Sensitive skin and Rosacea
Sensitive, red skin and rosacea are among the most common skin conditions we encounter at Ljoma Hud. Many people experience their skin suddenly reacting, becoming red, hot or irritated without fully understanding why. Others see gradual redness, dilated blood vessels or small pimple-like eruptions, especially on the cheeks and nose.
Rosacea and sensitive skin are all about an overreaction in the skin's protective barrier and blood vessels. This can be triggered by everything from sun, weather and temperature changes to stress, food, alcohol or skin care products that are not tolerated. The skin then becomes extra vulnerable and needs the right treatment, not only to reduce redness, but to rebuild balance.
Treatments that help with sensitive skin
At Ljoma Hud, we offer treatments that reduce redness and strengthen the skin barrier, adapted to skin that is easily irritated and rosacea.

Home care for sensitive and red skin
After clinic treatment, proper home care is important to maintain the results and prevent new outbreaks. A good routine is about protecting, soothing and balancing the skin.
Choose products without perfume, alcohol and strong acids, and look for ingredients such as ceramides, glycerol, probiotics and hyaluronic acid, these strengthen the skin barrier and increase moisture levels.
We recommend a cleanser that doesn't lather too much, followed by a soothing serum, then moisturizer. Use SPF 30 or higher, as sun and heat often worsen redness.
We are happy to help you put together a personalized skincare routine with products that suit your skin. Many of our products from SkinCeuticals and Rebiome are specifically designed for sensitive skin and rosacea.
